Our platform essentially acts as a gateway transmitting the invoicing information you send us to participating financial institutions. From within the financial institutions secure environment, your customers can then view and store this information. As such, you can be confident that their information is protected within the safety of bank level security.

To ensure that you connect with the right customers we provide comprehensive features and support including check digit/validation for customer reference numbers. This reduces the likelihood that customers registering to receive BankLynx billing enter the wrong information.

When your invoicing is transmitted to us and we then transmit this to participating financial institutions, the data is sent using a dedicated network link via a VPN that is not connected to the public internet. We encrypt all traffic flowing across this link using GCM-AES-128 encryption via the MACsec protocol.

As part of the BankLynx service offering, you will also have a separate and direct agreement with financial institutions offering BankLynx payments. This is because all payments made by your customers to you occur via their financial institutions secure environment.

If your customer chooses to pay a BankLynx bill, the only people with access to their billing details are you, your customer, and your customer’s financial institution. BankLynx does not receive any of your customer’s personal details or account details during the payment process.
